Horrible experience
2.0What an absolute disappointment! 5th time staying here and each time it’s gotten worse and worse. Place is run down and in major need of a remodel. 1. Rust all over curtain rods 2. Rust in windows with lots of dead bugs 3. Broken and loud fridge 4. Broken coffee maker 5. Was here during a big storm so tried turning on TV, huge line down the TV 6. Can’t read #s on the oven knobs 7. The water fountain kept making horrible noises throughout the night. 8. Disgusting backed up shower drain 9. Downstairs units are very loud from the people upstairs. And pray you don’t get a unit next to the pool. You can hear everything and everyone could see into our unit. Nothing quite like the sound of kids screaming non stop and people staring into your “private” space. Had to keep the blinds closed to have some privacy. I reached out a couple times to fix a couple items, but the list kept growing. I hate to complain and didn’t want to spend my trip dealing with management who couldn’t care less.
Amazing location
10.0Kauai is heaven on earth to me and the views from Shearwater were amazing. Shearwater itself has a pool, hot tub and grills in terms of services but we accessed the gym at a sister property.

10.0What did I like? Outstanding view, the property was in perfect condition and very comfortable, and the staff was professional and very helpful. What didn’t I like? Not a single thing.
