10.0The breakfast was consistently the best food we’ve had on Salt Spring Island—stay for the breakfast alone! It’s a beautiful, private space amidst old growth forest. The secluded hot tub and patio to sit on were amazing, it was like being in a fairy tale. There’s also an outdoor shower, which was a great pairing with the hot tub. Sue was a top tier host. She waited up late for us to come in from the ferry, gave our dog treats every morning with breakfast, and was very accommodating for our dog’s needs. And it’s a gated yard so our dog could roam as he wanted! The location is within 8-10 minutes of the Ganges, with lots of beaches and hiking trails a short drive away. It’s hard for me to imagine a better place to stay on the island. The suite was spacious, lots of lighting, with the candles & fireplace making it extra romantic. FYI, there is no tv, which is great for an unplugged getaway. Overall, we’ve loved our stay here, very relaxing.
