5.0Breakfast not included and the offerings were the same cakes etc as were on the counter from the day before so we chose to breakfast elsewhere
− Honestly, it was nice they “upgraded” us to a bigger room since the one we booked was apparently being renovated but 1) our room had NO towels, and when I went to ask for them I was initially handed 2 wet bath towels, which I rejected, then 2 mismatched bath towels, and no hand towels; 2) the refrigerator, shower glass walls and shower surround, and bathroom sink had not been cleaned; 3) the kitchen sink had a constant, annoying drip; 4) the sofa was covered in a blanket that was covered with dog hair; 5) we found a used, dirty hand towel shoved under one of the night stands; 6) there was other, dirty laundry in the other (unusable) bathroom (unusable because we were told previous guests broke the toilet handle). We understand this is a family business and some concessions can be made but this is “peak” season. We booked this place because of the loch (which is inaccessible) and the restaurant/bar offerings (which were closed while we were there!). Also, the highly unusual number of room air fresheners throughout the suite gave me a terrible headache.

9.0What a lovely place in a beautiful location, owners are lovely people as well , rooms are great quality and the shared lounge and kitchen with some complimentary things are a lovely touch .
− Hard to fault , would be nice if the bar at the bear stayed open a bit later but thats being picky
