3.0− One whole day with no electricity! No wifi, no ligght, no elevators, it was pretty fangerous to move around in the dark hallways. We’ve got no apology or a price reduction offer! Breakfast - which when I booked I was told I paid for but the hotel claimed otherwise & charged me again!
Amazing cliffside hotel with spectacular views and exceptional service
9.0Everything about our stay was fantastic. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and had one of the most incredible views I've ever had from a hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully built into the cliff, with the original rock incorporated into the architecture, making the common areas and corridors really unique. The walkway to the private beach is stunning, and the beach itself is amazing. Breakfast was excellent, with great quality food served on a terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were outstanding, always friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Our room didn't have a kettle or coffee machine when we arrived, but they brought both immediately after we asked. Having on site parking is also a huge bonus on the Amalfi Coast.
− Only a few minor details. A safe in the room would have been useful, and the bathroom was a little small and could benefit from a few extra hooks for towels. The gym doesn't open until 8:30, which is quite late if you like to work out before breakfast. The private beach is in the shade from around 4 pm onward, although it's wonderful before then. You'll also want a car to get around, though it's possible to walk to nearby Cetara to catch ferries along the coast.
