A dreadful misrepresentation on booking.com

− We found on arrival that the cottage we had was not as pictured. It was a tiny one bedroomed building, possibly a converted garage. The kitchen door to outside was unlockable and had been amateurishly fixed, there was not any space in the miniscule DIY type scruffy kitchen for a dishwasher or washing machine, extractor covered in dust. No space to move in the tiny kitchen space. TV didn’t fit properly on its table, random pictures/photos all crooked on the wall. In adjacent garage type building some unfinished building works exposed and a child could fall in and badly injure itself. All in all a deceptive listing on booking.com for a scruffy tiny building in poor condition. Price a total rip off just taking advantage of tourists but giving an appalling impression of highland hospitality to the poor unsuspecting visitor. We live in Inverness and will advise anyone to steer clear of the place.

8.0Lovely little cottage. Easy check in and out. Had a very relaxing weekend, perfect place to shut off and spend some quality time with the partner. Very clean and tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. Brought our own food and cooked throughout the weekend. Fully stocked kitchen made it feel like we were at a home from home.
− They could have more secure doors. They felt a bit flimsy. They also provide tea and coffee, but some milk sachets would have been nice. Lucky we took our own.
