10.0Fantastic place
We loved everything about the property, and really enjoyed our 2 night stay.
10.0We loved everything about the property and really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Lovely historic country house and grounds. Beautifully kept, furnished and decorated in keeping with the era of the property. We were made to feel very welcome by the owning family, who made it clear we should feel free to make use of all the family rooms, lounge, library, and games room (with full size snooker table) and also to use the family kitchen if we wished. Great breakfast served in the family dining room. We stayed in suite 2, which is very spacious, with a large en suite bathroom, both with views out over the garden. As the weather was great during our stay we were able to enjoy spending time sitting out in the garden reading and playing with the two very friendly resident Spaniels, Barney and Spencer. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We would definitely return if visiting or passing through this area in future.
Would stay again.
