A very special place to stay for anyone who appreciates quiet locations and history.
9.0The history of this place is awesome (would have appreciated English history guides/signs) and I love how they have architecturally developed the ruins using very modern features rather than trying to recreate what has been lost. Breakfast in the vaulted dining room was special, and I enjoyed looking at the displayed historical artefacts such as the continuous family seals dating from 1400s to 1914. Comfortable room in coach house, lovely bathroom. Very comfortable beds.
− Promised secure parking for motorcycle but asked to leave it outside the courtyard. Area is very quiet so risk of theft is very low so not a big issue.

8.0La situación y el entorno excelentes, bellísmos árboles, naturaleza muy especial, entorno ideal, lugar histórico con mucha personalidad, poco convencional, pero ojo con los mosquitos. Lugar muy agradable, fuera de lo común. Oscuridad completa en la zona por la noche, cosa que es de agradecer,
− Había mosquitos y quizá se oye un poco la carretera cercana, pero aún así el lugar era tranquilísimo. No hay restarante (lo que puede ser una ventaja).
