Overnight stay for a concert

Booked this Hotel/Pub as my husband and myself were attending a concert at the theatre nearby, Central location to shops, pubs, eating places. Had trouble finding the private car park on arrival as we drove around to the back of the hotel. I had to go in the pub and ask and was told it was at the side of the pub which was a very tight alleway which lead to a small car park at the back. Our room was on top floor, tricky stairs leading up so be careful. Room clean and tidy. Decent overbath shower . Alarm went off around 12.30 am just after we got into bed. We didnt know what alarm it was. My husband went out of room to find someone but no one about and other guests wondering what was going on. He phoned out of hours answer phone provided but went straight to answer phone. We said alarm going off on phone but dont know if message was received. Would be helpful if someone to speak to for after hours emergencies. How do we know it wasnt a fire ? Alarm eventually went off after about 20 mins. Cooked Breakfast the next morning wasnt the best but ok. Would stay again.

Verkauft Zimmer, die nicht verfügbar sind

− Das Hotel hat noch Zimmer im Erdgeschoss verkauft, die es gar nicht mehr hatte, und bei der Ankunft war dann nicht mal mehr das Zimmer im 1. Stock verfügbar, auf das wir uns trotz gebrochenen Fußes eingelassen hatten. Wer auf ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss angewiesen ist, sollte sich lieber rückversichern, dass er wirklich das gewünschte Zimmer erhält. Die junge Mitarbeiterin war völlig überfordert und ziemlich pampig, als wir aufgrund der Nichteinhaltung der gebuchten Leistung eine kostenlose Stornierung verlangten. Erst über den sehr guten Kundenservice von booking.com bekamen wir das Geld zurück. Da keine Übernachtung stattfand, können wir die Zimmer etc. nicht beurteilen.

Lovey place but its a old building with no lift so if you find stairs difficult mention it when booking the room .we had a Lovey lady called dee seeing us really made our experience much nicer.
