We've been visiting Lakes Entrance for over 15 years, and our only regret is that we didn't discover Coastal Waters Motor Inn sooner. The location is fantastic—just a five-minute walk to the footbridge, restaurants, cafés, and everything else you need. From the moment we walked into our room, it was obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought into what guests actually appreciate. The room was stocked with quality crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, a coffee pod machine, and a microwave—it's the little touches like these that really make a difference. Our room was spotless and smelled beautifully clean on arrival, making us feel comfortable straight away. While the bathroom is a little dated, it was immaculately maintained and certainly didn't detract from our stay. We honestly couldn't fault our experience. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere made this one of the best places we've stayed in Lakes Entrance, and we'll definitely be back.

Tracy has really gone the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and provide a cozy and extremely comfortable stay. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This is hands down the best motel I've ever stayed in. The cleanliness was absolutely exceptional—I genuinely don't think I could fault a single thing. The room was immaculate and so obviously cared for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the Jason recliners were such a thoughtful touch. After a long day exploring, being able to relax in such comfortable chairs made a real difference and elevated the whole experience. Tracey was wonderful. She took the time to recommend some fantastic local sights and a beautiful walk that we probably would never have discovered on our own. Her local knowledge and genuine hospitality made our stay feel so much more personal. What impressed me most was the kindness and integrity shown by the owners. It's clear they take enormous pride in their property and genuinely care about their guests' experience. That level of service is becoming increasingly rare and deserves to be recognised. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will be recommending this motel to anyone visiting the area. An outstanding stay in every respect.

Het ontvangst bij de receptie was erg hartelijk. De vriendelijke dame gaf ons zelfs een upgrate naar een ruimere kamer. Na een goede uitleg over de omgeving wat we toch echt allemaal moesten gaan bekijken werden we naar de kamer gebracht. De kamer was niet speciaal maar wel lekker ruim en erg schoon wat wij eigenlijk toch wel het belangrijkste vinden. Het ontbijt hebben we bij geboekt en deze wordt op de kamer gebracht. Deze was echt heerlijk en ze hadden er zelfs een vers bloemetje bijgedaan om het geheel wat op de vrolijken.
