Read Before You Book - This Place Is A Disaster

Location is good. That's about it.

− Only one key and it needs to be inserted into a holder to turn on the power in the unit. If you leave the unit, you lose power inside of it. This includes the AC unit. There are also magnets on the door to balcony that cut off the AC unit so you can't use the balcony and still run the AC in the unit. My wife and I split up at times or one of us would run an errand and we had to juggle the one key to make sure we could get into the apartment. Absolute disaster. I asked the host for a second key card but they did not respond to any messages during our visit. Check in was also a mess. No instructions were ever provided. The booking says there is a mini market associated with the rental and they will arrange the check in. We asked every single store on the street and no one was associated with the rental. We ended up calling the number on the booking.com website and whoever answered was more concerned with how we got their number instead of assisting with check in. The rental is also run down. The bathroom vanity is pulling off the wall. There is no drain stop in bathroom the sink. The shower head doesn't work so you need to us the hand held wand only. There is also a window right next to the bed with no shade so it's super bright. The curtains in the living space are also not blackout curtains. I would not recommend this rental to anyone and would never personally stay there again.

Όλα ήταν πολύ καθαρά! Ήταν σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο, αλλά πάρα πολύ ήσυχα! Άνετος χώρος με κλιματισμό το διαμέρισμα, με όμορφο, μεγάλο μπαλκόνι εξωτερικά με θέα στην πόλη. Η τιμή ήταν λογική για την τοποθεσία, τις παροχές και την υψηλή τουριστική περίοδο. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήρθε άμεσα για το check in, ευγενικός κι εξυπηρετικός! Ήταν μια ευχάριστη εμπειρία η διαμονή μας! Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε. Ευχαριστούμε!

Very nice and centrally located apartment with comfortable terrace, but also lots of noise

Very central location next to the old harbor, very well-equipped kitchen, large terrace to eat outside, friendly host with free drinks at arrival, daily cleaning provided

− Despite the good location, there are very loud drunk people at the gyros place across the street every night until 5 am, which makes it hard to sleep.

Die Unterkunft liegt toll mit Blick auf den venezianischen Hafen und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel.

− Leider funktionierte im unteren Bad die Regendusche nicht, anscheinend war der Duschkopf total verkalkt. Im oberen Bad funktionierte sie, aber danach stand im Bad alles unter Wasser. Die Tauben sind im Hafen wirklich ein großes Problem, man könnte den Balkon noch schöner nutzen, wenn vielleicht eine Markise drüber wäre. Trotz dieser Kleinigkeiten würden wir wieder buchen.

Location of the apartments were perfect. The layout was well done and the view spectacular. Nick Helped with an early check in and made good restaurant recommendations.

− Hairdryer didn’t work and could do with some dish towels for washing up. But these are minor compared to everything else. Thanks Nick and team for a wonderful experience in Rethymno
