Anniversary weekend
10.0We came here for two nights for an anniversary weekend and stayed in the Shenandoah room. The room was very well appointed, comfortable and spacious. We did use their pool out first afternoon which was very refreshing and we opted to do a steak dinner there our first night. You need to let them know if you opt for this at least 5 days ahead. We enjoyed this along with the wine we brought along. The next evening, we had dinner at Mill Street grill in Staunton. Amazing ribs and drinks. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and during the day we found yummy baked treats in their dining room area to enjoy. The hospitality was very warm and I would recommend staying at this place!
One word-Perfect!
10.0On opening door to Leopold suite a feeling of relaxation takes over. Wonderful linens and robes, tiled shower and adjoining sitting room. Sandra went out of her way to accommodate our dietary needs for a fabulous breakfast. Grounds are lovely with accessible walking path.
Beautiful bed and breakfast!
10.0Steeles Tavern was the perfect bed and breakfast spot with our friends. The house was beautifully decorated and so cozy. All of our rooms were so comfortable, clean, and romantic. Sandra and her assistants were always available for anything that we needed. The breakfasts were so fresh and yummy! We also enjoyed a delicious group dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Added bonus: having a beautiful backyard area with a pool and hot tub! I can’t recommend this property enough! Thanks Sandra for an unforgettable weekend!
Weekend couples getaway
10.0Enjoyed a wonderful two night stay with my husband at the Ivy cabin. Lovely view from the front porch. Cabin was nicely renovated, very clean, and had everything we needed. It was secluded and quiet. Breakfast at the Manor was delicious. Had the chia pudding (yum!) and avocado toast with farm-fresh eggs. Husband had a western omelette and yogurt parfait. Coffee cake was delicious! Spent a day hiking from Crabtree Falls up to the AT then enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. Only complaint was the skylight above the bed in our cabin-I had trouble sleeping in but this might not be the case for everyone. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend the Steele Manor Tavern.

Overnight Luxury at Steeles Tavern Manor
10.0We were returning home in SC from the Finger Lakes and needed a luxury respite from the long drive. The dinner and local wine were fabulous. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The Manor and our room were spotless and inviting. Sandra, the innkeeper is not only a talented chef, she is warm and friendly and highly organized making our visit as relaxing as we had hoped for and needed. Steeles Tavern Manor B&B is easy to get to from I-81 and is very quiet. The shared spaces were comfortable and inviting.
