− Air conditioning but in Scotland why bother , the hotel did supply fans for all rooms when we there which was a nice touch

− Looks like it needs updating. The experience on arriving is underwhelming, looks like it was abandoned some years ago. Was at some time a nice house I'm sure. As an old building there is no aircon so if it's hot it's unbearable. Plus road noise is significant. Staff could be more friendly (like a welcome smile...). Food passable....small hotel so feels empty. I've read some of the other reviews and the defensive comments from the owners - it is what it is.

− Informed on arrival at 2030 good stopped at 2000. Also bar was closed what kind of hotel is this. We paid for B&B but left early as just wanted to get out of there.
Great over night stay, tea a breakfast was excellent. Brilliant service
