Change the mattress and I’d happily recommend the place. Until then I wouldn’t bother.

− The room (room 2) was very hot (which I appreciate couldn’t be helped) but the fan provide was next to useless. The mattress WAS THE WORST I’d ever slept on. It was so bad that I had to sleep on the duvet from the other bed just to try and minimise the springs jabbing in to me….was seriously bad. A very cheap mattress.

Good, clean and quiet room
7.0A basic but good sized and clean room in pretty and quiet little stretch of a village, super fast running bath. The English breakfast was generous and the older lady serving was lovely and worked hard to make it perfect for us (I should have gone for the fried bread!).

Very friendly and pleasant staff, but the room was badly maintained and it was noisy.

− The decor of the room was poor - broken button on the toilet flush, cracked window pane, shower holder broken, dirt in the corners, noisy lorries going past on the main road.
