Er wordt 24 7 op je gelet. Het "management" communiceert met geschreven berichten. Al direct na aankomst krijg je het gevoel niet welkom te zijn. Het huis hangt vol met A4-tjes wat allemaal niet mag. Daarnaast is het huis zeer gehorig. Vooral de privé achterdeur slaat constant met een harde klap dicht. Expedia zou diverse fouten hebben gemaakt met de boeking en een veel te lage prijs hebben berekend. Er bleef dan ook maar 1 B van de B&B over. Breakfast kon er niet meer vanaf. We zijn dan ook van ellende eerder vertrokken. Een verademing voor B&B explateurs also dit "Management" er mee stopt. Mag nog aan toegevoegd worden dat het mannelijke deel van dit "management" gewoon zo onbeschoft is dat zijn vrouw hem moet corrigeren.

Perfect place to stay in Vila Franca do Campo - one of the best towns if you want to travel around Sao Miguel island. Quiet place, clean rooms and very kind hosts - they are ready to help you with everything you want. Shared bathroom is not problem. You can also use shared kitchen with fridge or microwave oven. Breakfast was delicious!

Amazing stay

I stayed for a week and had a great stay. The location was quite and had beautiful view, the breakfast was amazing, bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were very clean and the hosts were very caring and nice. I will definitely come back in the future!

Quiet and relaxing getaway place

My wife and I stayed at Islet View for 4 days, and loved it. The house is in a quiet and peaceful location - you can hear birds and ocean breeze, and no city sounds like cars. Awesome place to relax. The house is a walking distance (15-20 minutes) to a boat that takes you to Ilheu da Vila rock lagoon, a great place to swim in warm ocean water. There is also a picnic area nearby (5-minute walk) with benches, tables, and stunning ocean view. The hosts are very kind and hospitable, ready to help with questions about the island: what to visit and at what time (it matters for hot springs in the ocean, for example). They serve a solid breakfast, important to have before going on a hike. House amenities, shared between guests, include refrigerator, kitchen with microwave oven, laundry. Bathrooms are also shared, but it was not a problem for us, since we had a different schedule from other guests. The hosts provide individual sets of towels, including special towels to take to Furnas hot springs (important detail, as water is colored there). Parking is abundant next to the house and in the nearby parking lot, which is almost always empty. Overall, we loved the stay. Had we known what this place is like before, we would have stayed there for longer. Thank you Dr. Susanna for being a great host!
