9.0The location is close to the eating places in downtown Custer. The room may be old, however, it is clearly well looked after and cared for. Best motel I have ever stayed in and 100% would stay there again for a great price.

10.0Amazing location -- very close to the Black Hills, Wind Cave National Park, and Mt Rushmore. The room was clean and spacious. The manager (or owner?) was super friendly, funny, and gave us lots of helpful local tips!
Amazing value & top choice for staying in Custer!
10.0Highly recommend booking here! Located centrally on the main street, easy to get in and out. Close to Black Elk Peak trailhead, Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, Wind & Jewel Caves. Super clean. Very comfy bedding, blankets, sheets & towels. They give a lot of towels! A/C worked very well and was quite adjustable temperature-wise. Large TV, good WiFi (although I didn’t use it much). Room seemed quite spacious compared to some hotel rooms I’ve stayed at. Designated & comfortably wide parking spot in front of your room. Rate of roughly $120 USD per night (which includes fees/taxes) seemed great value (especially during high season)!
− Everything was great! You may hear some traffic on the road, depending on time of day and where your room is located, but no noise bothered me. I also wore silicone earplugs to sleep and had A/C running.
