Super friendly & helpful staff, decent accomodation
8.0Stayed in this hotel for two nights during a Herzegovina wine tour with friends. Accomodation is decent but rather basic, super friendly and helpful staff, basic breakfast (did not have dinner). I can highly recommend visiting the family's nearby winery too! Of course they serve their wines at the hotel too.

6.0The towels are warn, stained and tattered. They definitely need new towels.
Perfect location
8.0This is a rustic hotel right in the center of all things medgugorie..location perfect..room vvv basic..no frills however it had very comfortable beds and duvets..rooms would need updating but again it was vvvvv clean...we stayed 2 nights and our room wasnt cleaned..we asked several times for it to be done..but it wasnt...had to ask at reception 2nd day for towels. Breakfast is a free for all...no structure...we had to sit with strangers...not good. Its a cold cut breakfast ie hams cheese etc with scramble eggs..done the job...would stay here again as the lady who owns it is really luvly and the welcome gift appreciated.
Cannot see how it merits four stars, lacking amenities.
4.0How this hotel merits 4 stars is beyond comprehension, it is on a par with a Travel Lodge or similar. No fridge, phone, balcony in the rooms, hardly any seating in the very small bar area. Poor choice of food at both dinner and breakfast. A few tables and chairs on the pavement. Apparently there is a roof terrace, but as I was only there for one night, I did not use it , or see any directions to it. The attraction of this hotel is the churches and religious statues nearby, to which many Catholics make pilgrimages, but if you are not religious there is little to take you here. I had a seriously dangerous experience here. On the landings there is a motion activated light, which is dim, and as you get further away from it, it becomes difficult to even see room numbers, and it soon goes out. When I left my room to go down, the lift was stuck on a lower floor. I searched for stairs and at first could not find them in the darkness. When I eventually did locate them it was stepping into pitch darkness, totally unlit. I had to feel my way down to the next floor, narrowly avoiding a fall, where there was some dim lighting. Why not a motion activated light here? What you are not told, is that, on the wall, beside the sensor to which you present your card to unlock your door, there is a switch which activates further lighting. If you haven't been told, and can hardly see, how are you supposd to know? When I asked others in our party, none were aware. My bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was fine, but I am pleased that I was only spending one night here.

10.0What an experience from booking and communicating to staying and feeling like family. Ivana was very diligent in helping us when questions arose. We had a Mario waiting for us at the bus station and drove to the border to get out lost luggage. Nicoli greeted us our first night and spent time with us tasting/explaining wine from the family winery. Which was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and honestly felt like family. For our first time in Herzegovina, coming from the USA it was seamless( except for our luggage being delayed 2 days)! The location was excellent and walkable to the main church and services. Upon leaving we went to split, Croatia and happened upon a wine cellar tasting. We actually got to meet Andreas the owner of the winery and hotel and felt so blessed to have had the encounter. When we go back to Medjugorje, we will not hesitate to go back to this hotel. Thank you family Caserica!!! Ivana, Nicoli, Nicolina, Matte, and Andreas!!! 🙏🙏🕊❤️ You all made our trip amazing!
