L' emplacement dans la baie de Tanote à 2 pas de la plage. Resto sur la plage avec des tables abritées et ventilées. Très bonne qualité des repas, même si un peu plus cher qu'ailleurs sur l'île. Parfait pour être au calme et faire du snorkeling. Nous avons adoré ! Le personnel était très gentil.

− Chambre simple mais propre. Salle de bain juste fonctionnelle mais propre également. Bien pour 2-3 jours car isolé (impossible de bouger à pieds, taxi nécessaire et c'est assez cher).

Tanote bay je vynikající lokalita, korálový útes s bohatým podmořským životem začíná doslova pár metrů od břehu. Skála uprostřed zálivu a impozantní žulové balvany po stranách tvoří krásnou scenérii. Bungalov se nachází prakticky v džungli, takže ji vnímáte nejen zrakem, ale i sluchem.

− Bungalov má pěknou terasu, ale zasloužil by si kompletní rekonstrukci, a to především "koupelna" :-(. Čistota - katastrofa. Tanote bay je odlehlé místo, takže je nutné počítat s tím, že každá cesta (zpáteční) taxi - někdo z Poseidonu, většinou pan Van, do centra vás vyjde na 500 (!) bahtů. I když byli v pick-upu další 3 lidé, platili jsme i tak 400 bathů, stejnou částku pravděpodobně platili i ostatní spolucestující... Co se počítá k dobru - první odvoz z přístavu do ubytování je nabídnut zdarma.

Ну я тут не в первый раз останавливаюсь, поэтому знаю к чему готовиться))) Персонал нормальный, моря в 1 минуте ходьбы, собственно за ним сюда и ехали. Вокруг заросли, природа. В номере холодильник, кондёр работали исправно. По несколько подушек на каждого, есть ещё диван в номере.

− Все бунгало убитые, стены грязные, туалет с душевой страшные. По еде не вкусно, прошлые разы было гораздо вкуснее. Но это не самое плохое. В течении дня сотни пьяных подростков постоянно будут проходить прям мимо вашего бунгало вверх-вниз с парковки на пляж, многие спускаются на байках и занимают ваше место, потом приходится искать где свой припарковать. С безопасностью вещей, я бы сказал, что от приезжающих из других отелей (в основном пьяная и обдолбанная молодёжь) защиты никакой.

Amazing place, feels very secluded and could easily not leave the bay your whole stay

I loved this place. It’s very secluded, if you’re after the proper island experience then this is it. If you want somewhere in the middle of the hustle and bustle then this might not be for you. The rooms feel like they are in the middle of the jungle. Huge room with a balcony with my own hammock, huge bed. The restaurant of the hotel is practically on the beach, amazing views, the food was great and all the staff were lovely. IF you ask, they give you the details of their driver for a free shuttle to and from the port (which can be quite expensive otherwise as there’s no Grab on the island) The beach is lovely and big, plenty of space to lay on the sand. Some amazing (conditions allowing) snorkelling though it’s very rocky so it wouldn’t work for people who don’t want to dive or snorkel and prefer to swim/play around in the water.

− The bathroom wasn’t as nice though perfectly functional. The shower water took a while to drain. Despite the fact that it says the rooms get cleaned every two days, I stayed three nights and mine didn’t get cleaned (though not a major issue as it wasn’t exactly dirty).

Flott plass

Det er en fantastisk flott plass. Både selve anlegget, men også omgivelsene, stranden vannet og dykkemulighetene. Vi spiste god mat og hadde det veldig bra disse dagene. Vi hadde leid scootere ved piren da vi ankom Koh Tao. Dette gav oss stor frihet. Uten scooter ville det nok oppleves som svært begrenset med fasiliteter som tilgang på dagligvarer og andre restauranter. Kommer gjerne tilbake, men håper da at rommene er oppgradert ganske mye.

− Rommet vi hadde hadde nok en standard som er lagt under det man bør forvente. Svært rustikk. Vi var forberedt på dette og på grunn av omgivelsene koste vi oss maksimalt likevel.
