We received a warm welcome from Alison, who provided a clean, quiet and comfortable twin room (en-suite) for me and my son. Breakfast was delicious and included Scottish additions which I hadn't tried before: Lorne (square sausage) and haggis. I would highly recommend a visit to the Village Inn, and we will definitely return if in the area again.

A small b&b outside Gretna Green. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Evening meals were not available but this was made very clear before the stay. Room was a good size and spotless. The photograph shown was not taken recently. Breakfast was excellent. A good overnight stay.
