My second stay at the Stewart House
10.0A rare gem nestled in the heart of the Hudson, and overlooking the river, this house of hospitality is not to be missed. The historic Stewart House is warm, rich and tastefully updated with beautiful finishes reminiscent of the period. The staff is friendly and professional, eager to enhance your experience. The bar is warm and dark as in days of the river traffic and the dinner offerings are exceptional and reasonably priced.
Quiet and charming
10.0Traditional Upstate New York hotel with a lot of charm. Good breakfast and a beautiful restaurant.

10.0The boutique hotel style was very charming. The way the room and the noot were furnished brought back the good old days of the hotel in the 19th century. We also appreciated the flexible, self service breakfast. The room overlooking the Hudson and the park was a plus during our stay.
Guest review
4.0The first morning there was no water to drink or make tea/coffee. The second day we noticed the whole milk in the nook was off and lumpy. There were also no English tea bags. I suggest someone checks the nook every day.
The Sterwart house was charming, quiet, and comfortable. We loved the pillows especially.
10.0Self-serve breakfast was a nice option to have with delicious yogurt, granola and zucchini bread. There was also an option of oat milk besides milk and cream.
Passable
5.0The historical charm
− An alarm went off before sunrise which sounded like air raid warnings. I couldn’t sleep afterwards.
