The location is excellent, right on the waterfront with immediate access to the majority of sights. Plenty of restaurants within a brief stroll and only 3 minutes from the pedestrian bridge. Rooms are basic but more than adequate given the price. A large communal kitchen is a welcome and unexpected bonus. Wifi was good at about 25mbs. Staff are very helpful with recommendations and advice. Nice laid back, old world vibe to the place.

nice heritage stay but i dont like the smoking zone.

the location is the best! eat, shopping, transport all within walking. the budget was good value. the heritage of the building was great with all timber from structure to decorations. great to still above to living in it.

− there's smoking zone which is too near to my room, as i can smell it from inside the room. (pls request to get room far away from smoking area if u dont like the smell)

Fantastic location near the waterfront, food markets and huge shopping centre.

− We had thought we were booking a hotel, but it is a smart hostel. Small rooms, scruffy, could do with maintenance and a little TLC

Friendly, economical and perfectly located place to stay in central Kuching.

It’s a lovely old property, full of wooden furniture and tribal sculptures in the reception. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Good air conditioning which is needed cos Kuching is hot. The two staff members I met were super helpful. And for the location I can’t imagine anywhere better to stay in Kuching. I was just there one night, but when Zi come back it will hopefully be for longer.

Fantastic staff. So helpful. Genuine and friendly. Beautiful old building full of traditional furnishings. Great hospitality.
