A beautiful, relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscany. Perfect honeymoon. The domain is huge, the rooms are big and well equipped, there are many activities and 3 restaurants. It's very authentic and a perfect getaway especially when you live in a busy city. I would recommend to stay in the countryside area like we did, more relaxing and the pool area is nicer. Staff was great.

− Nothing. Some people should educate their kids better, especially at the pool area but that's not the hotel's responsibility.

Absolutely stunning and pristine location with great facilities. Food was excellent at all the restaurants. Staff very friendly. Only negative is it took a while to get in between locations as the buggy’s they provide are always late.

Il Borro is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a charming medieval village atmosphere. We appreciated the honeymoon welcome gift of wine in our room, loved the private horseback tour of the estate, and enjoyed the winery tour and wine & cheese pairings. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. Unfortunately, the service did not match the property’s air of luxury. The spa was unresponsive despite multiple attempts to book treatments, shuttle service was inconsistent, lunch took over 90 minutes to arrive, and my husband’s dinner entrée of white fish was initially served raw and then returned overcooked. Staff offered small bill credits and were apologetic, but these issues were tough to overlook. We left feeling that the property itself is breathtaking, but the service and experience fell short of expectations. While we had hoped to return for the horses, wine, and scenery, the overall experience didn’t justify the cost of our time or the money we spent.

We have just returned from an unforgettable stay at Il Borro Resort, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The estate is absolutely vast and breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by lush green vegetation and offering stunning panoramic views over the Pianura di Valdarno. We stayed in Il Borgo, a charming small medieval village within the estate, made up of restored country houses that have been thoughtfully converted into luxury suites. Our suite was wonderfully spacious, with a generously sized bathroom stocked with a wide range of premium amenities. The bed was supremely comfortable — exactly what you want after a day of exploring. A special mention goes to the Ferragamo bath products, presented in large refillable bottles rather than small plastic ones. As someone who finds single-use plastic miniatures a real pet hate, this thoughtful, sustainable touch was very much appreciated. I would like to commend the entire team at Il Borro. Every member of staff we encountered was knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay truly memorable. We dined at the resort throughout our stay, and the restaurants consistently delivered a truly delicious menu, showcasing the best of Tuscan cuisine with elegance and care. The pools, spa, and horse stables were all immaculately maintained — a testament to the high standards upheld across the entire estate. If you are looking to recharge, dine exceptionally well, and immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful corners of Tuscany, Il Borro Resort is an outstanding choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious yet authentic countryside retreat.
