10.0The location is truly beautiful but the holiday was made so much better by the friendliness of the staff and the excellence of the river lodge and the restaurant. If anyone wants to experience true NZ hospitality I would say this is the place to be it is exceptional and we will be coming back in the future.

9.0Given that it is a continental breakfast and it is isolated, from a restaurant setting with lots of choice it can t have as much choice as a general buffet, the range of stuff provide was quite good although a bit more choice of bread would be nice. As a marmalade fan the marmalade was outstanding
− Our one and only dislike is that we are not fans of plunger coffee we would much prefer Nespresso pods which every other top hotel now provides

9.0Luxurious, not pretentious. Accommodation beautiful, staff amazing and knowledgable! Shame the Loft wasn’t open on our stay, not sure why. Other than that could not fault it!
