Great location - great facilities
7.0It was in a gorgeous area
− There was a knocking noise all night which made sleep impossible- I couldn’t figure out where it came from- I ended up wearing my headphones…

8.0Very quiet. Rustic. Clean.

8.0The cabins are older but well maintained and very clean, making them a comfortable place to stay. They're surprisingly spacious and include a full kitchen, which is great if you're staying for a couple of nights or want to cook your own meals. The outdoor seating area and BBQ are nice extras, and it's only about a five-minute walk to the river and a small park. Overall, a good value if you're looking for a quiet, practical place to stay in Clearwater.
− It's a bit far from restaurants and shops and you have to drive

3.0− Ode to the Overlook Inn cabins **Two Cars, No Regrets (Director's Cut): An Overlook Inn Ballad** Four Aussies rolled through Clearwater town, two cars, two couples, no time to frown "The Overlook Inn," said the app, "looks fine!" (Reader, it did not. Not one sign.) The rooms smelled of mould and last decade's smoke, the carpet crunched like an inside joke. Beer cans lay scattered like fallen leaves, a shrine to every guest who'd fled with their keys. Room Six had a fan, bolted up with pride, two blades still spinning, the third gone AWOL — MIA. No note, no debris, no forensic clue, just a lopsided whirr and a mystery to chew. Room Eight, by contrast, kept its fan pristine a gleaming white pedestal, spotless, serene, standing there smugly amid the decay, the one piece of kit having a good day. But Room Eight had its own cross to bear: exposed live wiring and holes in the air where fixtures once lived before vanishing whole so the pristine fan got drafted for a rescue patrol. "Send it to Six," someone muttered, half-joking, "before that two-bladed thing does more choking." So the fan made the trip, borrowed, pressed into use, propping up Six like a hostage exchange truce though once it arrived, it caught the room's vibe and started to rattle, and bounce, and jive, shuffling sideways with each rickety spin, like it too had checked the reviews and wanted back in. "It's walking," one husband whispered, dead pan, "we've radicalised Room Eight's fan." Above them, the ceiling told tales of its own dark little craters where fixtures had flown, gone who knows where, to who knows what end, leaving holes like the moon's, minus the trend. The tub, meanwhile, hosted guests of its own six & eight legged, uninvited, distinctly not alone. "Is that... moving?" one wife dared to ask. The husband just nodded. No one filled the flask.
Could be cute accomodations if it wasn't so sketchy.
3.0Friendly person greeted us
− There were a group of men sitting outside the middle 2 cabins with empties stacked up and smelling like pot. Dirt on all three of the beds. Door lock seemed very flimsy and left us feeling vulnerable while sleeping.
