Staff were fantastic - all extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. Food highly recomended - we ate in restaurant 3 nights and stayed for 4 breakfasts - all had great quality produce which was cooked well. Plenty of choice on evening menu to suit most tastes. ( The restaurant was popular - so suggest booking in advance to avoid disapointment). Rooms of a good size and very comfortable with quirky decor - we were happy that our room has separate shower and bath. Plenty of Yorkshire tea & milk provided in the room and topped up daily. Coffee machine with pods and hot chocolate sachets also provided.

− Minor supply chain issue with baked beans not being delivered in time for cooked breakfast for the first few days. This was out of the pubs control but staff took steps to resolve this by the end of our stay. The breakfast menu had plenty of tasty alternatives, so wasn't a big problem. On one night the people in the room above us were noisy with loud voices until early hours of the morning. Seemed to be a one -off and not repeated on other nights.
