Lovely location looking across the Walker River. Very quiet despite proximity to highway.

1. Beautiful rustic mountain furniture 2. Comfortable bed 3. Nice separate comfy chair 4. Sliding glass door leading to river, large lawn area and deck with chairs. 5. Dog friendly 6. Ability to pull up and park right in front to load up luggage 7. Mini fridge 8. Carpeted living area 9. Quiet 10. Felt secure

− 1. Other than the furniture and comfortable bed, the bathroom area is in desperate need of remodeling and upgrading 2. Although the bathroom seemed clean enough, it feels dirty because it is so old and outdated. The linoleum floors feel dirty when walking on them with bare feet. Although they felt dirty, I’m pretty sure they were clean. 3. The bathroom faucets were so old that they were difficult to turn on and off. 4. The bathroom needs more hooks and racks to hang towels. 5. Although the tv had a few movie channels, most of the channels were info commercial stuff. The tv’s need to be much bigger and they need to be smart tvs, in order to watch our own movie apps. 6. Although there was a mini fridge, it needs to be much larger with a freezer compartment for ice cream. 7. The room is called a river view room but you can’t really see the river from the room. You pay extra for a river view room but can’t really see it. Even when I walked out onto the lawn, I struggled to see the river. There are shrubs that line the river and they block the view of the river. It’s a shame. There’s so much potential there. A second story with private balconies would be exceptional, where one could truly have a view of the river. This is not a large raging river. It’s more like a creek but defiantly pretty and peaceful once you can get a glimpse of it.
