There were activities for the kids.

− The closest pool to the cottage was closed. The water slide was never open during our stay. Cottage was filthy (looked clean at first, but the floors and toilets were disgusting. Daughter's socks were completely black). Some floor tiles were broken and ripped up. Worst bed I have ever slept in (mattress was broken down in the center so the bigger of the 2 adults was in the middle and the other person slid towards the middle and on top of the other person. After further investigation, there was no support board in the middle at all). Customer service was terrible. (Called the front desk for a week and left multiple messages to ask about what size the beds were because sheets were not included. No one ever picked up or called me back. When leaving, there were 2 people at the front desk doing absolutely nothing. They should be answering their voice mails!) Posting said 3 bedrooms but only 2 (one room with queen bed and a closet with a bunk. There was a sleeper sofa in the kitchen/ living room area) After booking, I received an email from the property saying the mini split ac units were not in operation(too late to cancel for full refund. The email continued on to say there was 1 window unit for the entire rental and to bring a fan) The water from the kitchen sink smells and tastes like metal. So, your shower water is the same and you come out of your shower still smelly. I did not experience this, but another family shared with us that the laundry facilities were the same stinky water. Pots and pans in the kitchen were in pretty rough shape. Fire pit and grill were not cleaned out from some prior rental. Crushed up beer cans in the parking area on arrival.

I like that the website offered...lots of amenities and things to do...but when we got there EVERYTHING was terrible...toilet overflowed..clogged up didn't flush...the air conditioner went down..NO AIR...we ordered a screened in porch..didn't get one even there were ones right across the pool..which is what i thought i ordered instead stuck us in back with a nice expensive golf cart rental we needed to purchase to get around...especially to the toiletsfor our family of 7!!!...7...anyways the store was close...no game...even the t.v didn't work...there is more and i think im entitled a full refund

We have stayed at this O'Connell's three times prior to this visit. We have loved it each time, however this time we were particularly impressed. They have made some improvements. It seemed to be in great condition with the same friendliness and family feel.

We lived Yogi Bear!! Great weekend. Bands, Karaoke, activities for the kids. Paddle boats, fishing and water slide 2 pools!! Great Family atmosphere I will be back!! ❤️❤️❤️

Great place for family....

Cabins are clean beds are ok but realistically your going there too cookout swim and be with the family not be in the cabin all day very friendly staff.
