Back in time!
10.0This was a super fun experience !! The Olympic is a throw back to another time. Stories everywhere that come alive on the walls and hallways. It was a very nice change from more sterile hotels. Homey furnishings made it feel a little like staying at grandma’s…in a very good way. The sounds from the building and train were actually kind of cool…I slept very well! Bathrooms were plentiful, even if across the hall. Super clean!

10.0The quality of the food and beer
− Bunk bed for one adult no
Fun place, just be aware of the regular nightly trains
8.0Friendly, fun, comfortable
− Even with the earplugs, it was hard to sleep due to the trains whistles every hour or so.
Historic and unique but uncomfortable with a dedicated staff in need of more training.
4.0A unique property that transports guests to the 1800s. The problems: a lot of noise from slamming doors and nearby trains. A cold room but the portable heater given to me at my request came without instructions and I was unable to set it to heat for more than a short time; I never warmed up. Instead, I wore double long-johns and 3 sweaters. Yes, the window was closed.
− Noise until midnight and cold temperature. Also, there was no elevator and 22 steps up the staircase to get to my room. I am OK with no elevator but, for an older person like me, the steps were a problem. Luckily, I did not fall on the staircase. No phone in the room.
Love the theme, apparently zero management of rowdy guests and seems to attract unsavory types who don’t respect fellow
5.0Fun and funky. Cute, tiny room.
− Neighbor in next room sang loudly for hours from 1am to 3am, playing music at top volume. Coffee wasn’t available until 7 and no way to make your own. Lots of drunks.

9.0The thing about staying at a McMenimans Property is that you have to be adventurous and willing to "step back in time". You may end up sharing a bathroom down the hall, and dealing with a little rust or noise. It's not modernized on purpose. The staff was great and the tour through history PRICELESS!
