10.0Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb aber dafür ist es ein super schöner Ort. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und das Bad wunderschön. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Wir haben sogar auf der Anlage Affen entdeckt.
− Das Menü für das Abendessen bietet keine allzugroße Auswahl und ist recht teuer, hat uns allerdings nicht gestört da wir außerhalb gegessen haben.
Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Food, Beautiful Grounds, and Amazing Staff
10.0This was the best stay of our three-week trip through Sri Lanka — we stayed in a deluxe chalet and absolutely loved it. The accommodation, gardens, and pool area are exceptional and create such a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. What truly stands out, though, is the incredible food experience: both breakfast and dinner are outstanding. In addition, the safaris booked through the property and the nearby beaches are amazing. On top of everything, the staff on the grounds are incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful at all times. Every single night was absolutely worth it.

8.0The rooms were really well decorated. We loved having our own little lodge. The beds were comfy, and the view out of the lodge was nice. The manager of the hotel was very attentive, and we had some great chats with him.
− Food: We really disliked having to pre-order food from a set menu. Having to decide what we wanted to have for dinner whilst at breakfast. I don't understand why you need a set menu? The food was also very bland. 3 of us ate off the eastern menu, which was all super bland and tasteless. I don't understand why you can't have Sri Lankan food served traditionally? That's what we tourists are here for! And the breakfast was ok, but super bland again. The sandwiches on safari were really horrible. There aren't many drink options available, and they never give ice in the drinks. You could do with an espresso machine and a milk steamer - I think that is essential at a hotel where tourists can't get a good coffee in the surrounding area. Atmosphere: There is nothing to do in the surrounding area, so once you've done your safari and had a swim in the pool, it's best to move on. I heard they're building a spa, which will be really good for something to do in the afternoon once you get back from safari. Some live music in the evening would be nice, so you have a reason to sit at the restaurant for longer.
