Fantastic Park
10.0Great park, magnificent facilities and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay, we highly recommend this park.
Lovely location on the river - but a little disappointing
6.0Was looking forward to the trip as really love Jervis Bay. Came here with 3 teen boys, my mum and a friend for 4 nights in the 2nd week of the April 2026 school holidays. We paid over $450 a night for a waterfront villa which we were happy to do as we love the area and really wanted a relaxing holiday. HOWEVER - please, please explain to me why the holiday park is configured in this way: you have a row of waterfront villas, all of which all the bedrooms look out to/face the very noisy, overflowing camping area of families and children. Not fun. And in no way conducive to sleep, peace & quiet or any relaxing to be done whatsoever. Great if you want to hear adults getting drunk way past midnight or the sounds of kids screaming on their scooters and dinkies doing laps of the campsite between 6am - 7am (true!). Perhaps put all the families and kids in the largely vacant camping area on the other side of the park instead of right underneath the sleeping quarters/bedrooms of the lakefront villas. Make that make sense. And yes, I understand kids make noise and I understand it's the school holidays - but other people who stay here have the right to a nice holiday and SLEEP. We paid a premium to stay in a holiday park. Note: apparently you are not supposed to make any 'undue noise' between 10pm - 6am. FYI - we also heard the same sentiment from other people who were also staying here. Not everyone complains - some people don't think they can say anything and others just don't come back.
Great Experience
8.0Great experience — we loved the safari tent! It’s located right next to the swimming pool, which made it especially convenient with kids. Everything was spotless, and the tent had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also very close to town, making it easy to head out for food. The only downside was that you’re expected to do part of the housekeeping before you leave. The reason given was health and safety, which didn’t really make sense to us — when you stay in a hotel, you’re not asked to strip the beds and gather the towels. It felt more like a cost-saving measure than a necessity. Overall, it seemed a little overpriced.
You can't get better than Cabin 26!
10.0Living in southern Sydney with visitors from overseas, we took a journey back in time - 50 years and visited the Shoalhaven area staying at the Tasman Holiday Park at Jervis Bay. It turned out to be the best four days we have spent in many a year. Not having a caravan or camper, we chose Cabin 26, a double bedroom with spa bath, located next to the boat ramp. Booking was easy online. The site was immaculately prepared, with well-maintained grounds, excellent cooking and showering facilities (for those not in vans or cabins). The pool was adjacent to the playground and like everything else - well maintained. Checking in was smooth and we easily found our cabin. One bonus of this park - no motorised bikes scooters etc. permitted - pedal power only. The park is also dog friendly. Cabin 26 was surprisingly spacious for 3 adults and a 7yr old girl, who "claimed" the top bunk as hers. 😊 The few staff we encountered were very pleasant and jovial. The fridge was full size, all cooking and cleaning utensils and linen provided and as a bonus an outdoor table overlooking Falls Creek. The view from the balcony was magnificent. The boat ramp and jetty were a continual source of joy for our youngster as crabs, fish, ducks and pelicans were always on view. Though the highlight was watching the huge bull rays gliding by on most afternoons- stunning. We also spent time snorkelling at Moona Moona Creek, swimming at the white sand Hyams Beach, eating magnificent pies from the Husky pie shop and visiting the Lady Denman Museum. The park was surprisingly busy – this being post school holiday time. The sunsets can be spectacular. See pics. The entire experience was one of fun and relaxation. One suggestion I would make it that a bench or seat be placed near the playground. It would make supervising kids much easier when you must stand for long periods of time. Oldies, pregnant mums and anyone really would benefit from somewhere to sit and watch the little ones. As Arnie said..."I'll be back"
Terrible
2.0During our stay there was a large group of entitled people that had absolutely no respect for other park guests and management did absolutely nothing to ensure they abided by park rules, the worst weekend away I and other guests have experienced, will not be back..
Very Enjoyable
10.0Very clean, well laid out, excellent staff. You could see the extra care taken to present clean and comfortable cabins. Good job.
