6.0Within the hotel the service (specifically the front desk) was good - happy to help and offer food suggestions etc. The bar outside was, frankly, dreadful. The bartender has no business doing that job and between the blaring club music and the language barrier it made ordering even a beer an exhausting endeavour. This is the important part: the road in front is being torn up so construction stuff / noise etc. Not the hotel's fault - but where there once was a road turn-in to the hotel - now has a new sidewalk with a 12" drop without warning. There are ZERO signs / nothing blocked off etc. Someone could break their ankle in the dark and this morning our Uber turned onto that and ended up crashing his car. When we pointed out this to the front desk (car in bad shape our ride to airport now not happening) the front desk either didn't understand or didn't care. That Uber driver should be compensated by the hotel, but I'm guessing he won't be. It all left a very bad taste in my mouth.
