Nice area, great amenities. I really can't rate staff because I had no interactions with them except thru Expedia and then thru an email. The only issue I had with this place was a very odd scent. I believe it was the smell of a dead mouse in the laundry area and the aroma could be picked up as soon as we walked in the door. I assume this is a temporary condition but I suggest the cleaning staff check any mouse traps and dispose of them before guests arrive. On a more positive note. The villa is nestled in a cute area and when we arrived hot air balloons were rising above us. The Villa itself was clean and comfortable. There was a TV in the living room area and in both bedrooms (although we didn't use it). I would stay here again.

Nice area and nice condo

We stayed 2 nights. It was in a very nice area. Very quiet and peaceful. We only had trouble with receiving the lock code to get into the condo. I had not received anything via email like the confirmation through expedia said I would. I called that morning and left a message. No return call. I thought maybe the code does not come through until right at check in time. Then it never did. I called again and left a message. Then I called the other number that was on the voicemail and a lady returned my call and gave us the key code right then and there so that was a big relief. I was kind of stressed out about that, but glad it all worked out! Otherwise I really liked the place and would return.

Weekend away with friends. Shopping in Galena and wine drinking .

Good weekend getaway

We wanted to spend the weekend in the Galena Area and also travel to Dubuque, IA. We looked at this option since it gave us access to the areas we wanted to visit and the pool and game room options we like while accommodating five people. This also fit our budget better than some other options. When we got there, the place is much bigger than you can tell from the pictures. We were also surprised that at the size of both of the bathrooms. This location made our trip very enjoyable even though the weather was not as nice as we would have liked. We would recommend this to anyone and will book this again.
