7.0The service, the onsen was great (especially the rotenburo), the meals. I wanted my husband to get the full ryokan experience, so that was fulfilled! The staff were amazing - thank you! It’s a great way to experience nostalgic Japan with a traditional ryokan experience (dinner in room, futon turn down service, breakfast in the grand room). Very memorable.
− The layout of the room was a bit odd (with the sink so far from the bathroom). I was expecting a more lavish manicured Japanese garden — due to past reviews. Check out was a bit early.

10.0The staff were extremely kind, the dinner and breakfast were incredible. We visited on a Thursday and we were the only ones in the onsen, which was amazing for our first onsen experience. There is a cute japanese garden in front. It is easy to get to the train stop from Osaka where a driver was waiting for us and also drove us back the next morning.
