Short stay, peaceful, adventure
10.0The location was incredible, it was so quiet and peaceful and the Shepherds Hut contained everything that we needed. It served as a great base for us to explore the beautiful Northumbrian coast. Julie, the host was super friendly and made the whole trip super easy for us. Amazing wildlife nearby too so keep you eyes peeled.
A peaceful and distinctive place to stay, combining comfort, character, and outstanding views
9.0An unparalleled location with sweeping views across the fields and beyond to Greensheen. The layout, with the separate sunroom annexe housing the kitchen and living area, is a brilliant idea that gives the property a unique character. The wood burners in both make it wonderfully cosy, creating a warm, relaxing, and memorable place to stay.
Loved staying in this little gem of a Shepherds hut..had everything we needed and more!
10.0Quirky & Quiet!
Would book again immediately, so relaxing <3
10.0I admit, somehow it slipped my mind when I booked that there were actually two cabins here—one for sleeping with a bathroom, and the other with a kitchen and living area. That was a bit inconvenient on the first evening, of course, when it was pouring rain. But overall, I quickly adjusted to it and just made myself some tea whenever the sky cleared up. Both cabins are very well furnished; the sleeping cabin, in particular, is so charming that you won’t want to leave. There’s both a wood stove and an electric heater available, and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the fields right from your bed. Overall, you’re simply wonderfully surrounded by nature. The owner had also kindly left some milk in the fridge, so I could drink my tea with milk. All in all, it’s a wonderful place for a relaxing stay.
− It's not something that I disliked, it's just something that you should be aware if you are bokking it - the bed would be a bit small for two people if they are tall or a bit heavy. It's awesome and comfy for one person but my late husband wouldn't have fit in this with his height.
