Melissi Beach Hotel & Spa♡

Overall a disappointing experience for a first summer vacation with our baby.

Hotel is well located to the city center, and it is on a beautiful beach. Pool area was also nice. Buffet was good, but not surprisingly good.

− Rooms are outdated, which is attempted to be covered up with bad paint job. Rooms were not so clean, bed cover had yellow stains all over it (which made a terrible first impression of the room), and the bed frame was stained with something dark. The room air-con is noisy and blowing to your head while you sleep. Also, despite being with a baby, we got a room that is on the edge of the building, and the traffic is insane in the night (noisy motorbikes, buggies, etc), which was waking us up in the night. Bed sheets seem to be made of polyester, have pen inscription of hotel name on it, and were changed only once in 10 days, and it was really hot and humid so it was weird. Towels changed daily. Room rating 2/10 Restaurant is averagely good. I expected more seafood, fish, Mediterranean food in general given the location. Egg line is too slow in the morning. They make theme nights every night (Asian, Greek, Italian, BBQ, etc) which was cool. Depending on who you run into, staff in the restaurant is either really nice or annoyed with your presence, no in between. Pool restaurant is okay, not great not terrible. Restaurant 5/10 Beach is really nice, although the setup of sun beds I did not like in particular, so we used the pool sun beds. Pool area is nice, and the spa center staff (where you get clean towels everyday) is super polite and nice. 5/10

A hotelhez tartozó egyik apartmanban laktunk, mely rendkívül tágas, kényelmes, nagy terasszal. Fantasztikus a tisztaság! Az étterem kiváló, hatalmas választékkal, tematikus vacsoraestekkel. Az apartmanokhoz is tartozik egy 6×12 méteres medence, mely szellős, kiváló meleg a vize. A szálloda főépületénél pedig medence hegyek vannak, mely rendkívüli. A tenger gyönyörű tiszta és meleg, a partszakasz extra finom homokos. A tenger sokszor hullámzik, nagy hullámokkal, mely nagyon élvezetes. A személyzet valamennyi tagja nagyon barátságos és segítőkész. A hotel nagyon modern és elegáns. Csak szuperlatívuszokban tudok a hotelről írni.

Absolutely worth it - especially if with kids, it has its own beach area and sunbeds, a time saver for parents.

Amazing hotel, the staff is super helpful and welcoming, very child friendly, the animation team does a great job!

− Some minor things - like the dust under the beds, on the lamps in the cafeteria, else was perfect.

For the second time in two consecutive years, I've stayed at this hotel, and I can confidently say it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, in terms of service, cleanliness, and organization. This is especially impressive considering I travel between six and ten times a year around the world to various countries. It's also worth mentioning that due to a minor misunderstanding with one of the staff members, Mr. George, one of the hotel managers, generously compensated my wife and me with a wonderful deal that completely made us forget about the issue and continue our vacation in excellent spirits. I also want to thank Mr. Hamdi on the night shift and Mr. Hashem at reception for their outstanding service. I highly recommend this hotel.
