My favourite Ryokan in Japan!
10.0This experience was absolutely magical Torazo San and his wife were just wonderful. This truly is a must! The onsen on the property were in my opinion the best in the town. The breakfast that she cooked was absolutely mindblowing I will come stay here again. It is truly a quintessential Japanese experience.

10.0Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The ryokan is beautiful, traditional, and full of character, but what truly made the experience special was the host. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness and made us feel like honored guests rather than customers. We loved exploring Shibu Onsen in our yukata, visiting the different onsens, and returning to such a peaceful and comfortable ryokan. The traditional Japanese breakfast was outstanding and served with great attention to detail. Sleeping on tatami mats, soaking in the hot springs, and experiencing such authentic hospitality created memories our family will never forget.
