Best place to enjoy beach

Stayed only for few hours due to musty smell and had to over pay.
1.0− I did not like the fact that the price that was given to me on booking.com was not what I had to pay: there should be clear open pricing formula and not calculated prices based on dollar rates. Also room smelled musty.
One of the good spots to stay in Bentota
10.0A very welcoming host who greeted us with refreshing drinks on arrival. The hotel was clean, spacious, and overall offered a great experience. It is also within walking distance to the nearby beach. The property is located next to a railway track, which even provides a picture square opportunity. The adjacent restaurant, Amal, serves delicious food with Thai options also available. I personally enjoyed the cabin with a balcony, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze. Highly recommended for families and groups of friends.

1.0Location and room size
− 1. No Wi-Fi since check-in; manager responded rudely when informed. 2. Reception is often unattended; no one available to assist. 3. Restaurant had only one fan; manager justified it due to low staff, spoke rudely. 4. Room was not cleaned despite multiple requests; manager refused and yelled. Also made an inappropriate remark: “you all Indian people are same.” 5. No fans in or outside the room despite very hot weather; uncomfortable stay. 6. No in-house restaurant, making it difficult especially with a child. 7. Delivery personnel not allowed inside at night; had to go out to collect food.

10.0The room was very spacious, perfect for a family or couple or groups. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location exceptional. The food was good and they made amazing fish and schnitzel.
