4.0Arrival was traumatic. Property was poorly signposted and unlit so I drove past. The forecourt was so dark I had to use the light on my phone to get from my car to the door. The man who checked me in gave hurried and unclear instructions and did not take time to answer my questions or show me how things worked. The room was clean but shabby, with some wallpaper beginning to peel. The toilet was cramped, the shower only ran at one heat setting and the hairdryer was broken. The bed and the breakfast were ok so I could sleep and eat but overall not a pleasant experience.

10.0The stay was relaxed and comfortable with a flexible approach to checking in which was appreciated. Rooms are cosy, and the hotel was quiet and perfect for sleeping in.
