6.0Small hotel (12 rooms and suits, all with ocean view), located directly across the street to a public beach, sometimes crowded and noisy. Our room was a king room, decent size, spacious balcony, clean, the bed was very comfortable, free drinks in the room mini-fridge, a nice shower with digital touch buttons, Japanese-like toilet. The staff was nice, trying to be accommodating but NOT all of them were very professional (we felt ignored, especially by the manager, when we asked for an upgrade or delayed check out in a barely booked hotel). The breakfast was included and was good. The beach service included beach chairs, towels, umbrella, water. HOWEVER, this is an wannabe luxury OVERPRICED and OVERRATED HOTEL, value-for-money ratio doesn't make sense, it's not worth the price!! It is advised as a luxury boutique hotel, and for $700-800/night you expect everything to be amazing... The room looked tired and dated. Some fancy gadgets don't make a first class hotel! And with all the technology advertised in the room, there isn't an USB charger, just old plug-in outlets and a slow wireless charger. The bathroom is tiny, everything is cramped, there can't be 2 persons inside at the same time, and this is a problem because there isn't another mirror anywhere in the room. You can't even see yourself get ready! Even the cheapest hotel has that! Also the amount of light for the bathroom mirror is woefully inadequate! Pool and gym were small and disappointing.
