6.0Amazing location and grounds. Clean bedrooms and comfortable.
− Some staff were not friendly. The corridor to the self catering kitchen stank of damp. The kitchen facilities were closed in, run down and uncomfortable. The eating area for self catering was bleak, dark and cramped. Smelt awful of damp from the laundry room. Only one toilet on ground floor, slow check in, no table tennis as advertised. People were not particularly friendly and paying for parking was unnecessary.
Good location and staff just unfortunate room placement.
6.0We have stayed here a few times when at Alton towers. It’s good value for money and nice and close to the resort. Staff are all amazingly friendly and helpful as they have been every stay .
− Unfortunately the room we were in 301 was on the stair well so we had constant noise the full night with people in the hall, banging doors, banging cases up and down the stairs, the room shaking every time the fire door at the bottom was slammed shut. We normally like here but if this had been our first time here we wouldn’t have gone back. The room was the smallest we have been in, we paid extra for the en-suite as I was traveling with my kids but not sure it’s worth the extra money judging by this room. Shower leaked over the full floor and you have to crouch down to get your head under the shower. Just a disappointing stay. We will come back but not in this room and think if the next time was the same would then find a different place to stay in future. Almost the same price as the pods at Alton towers so might be time to go back to them 😥

8.0The building is lovely, the location is wonderful
− The windows in the room where small and now in England the summer's are hotter than ever, the hostel needs adapt the rooms yo the hot weather
Spectacular
10.0Beautiful building and nature that can leave you speechless
− Walking by this historic place and nearby hiking areas make loose time control and re-discover nature. Restaurant and caffe provide food supply nearly all day. The room was basic but cannot fault everyone clean bedding comfortably
