8.0Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. This was our first time in a hostel. We were very impressed with the overall location and facilities. Lovely to wake up in the morning and hear the birds singing and the stream running past outside. Pub close by for evening meals.
Nice yha hostel in the middle of the Lakes
10.0It's a youth hostel, so don't expect 5-star luxury. Having said that, our 5-bedded room was nice, the bathroom facilities were fresh and clean, the lounge areas were comfortable, the food was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The price was reasonable, and it's in a splendid location. What more could you want??
Nice hostel in secluded part of lake district
8.0Close to Scarfell pike. Can walk up Scar fell from hostel. Wifi was terrible and didn't work at all for me but I know it did for some people. Had a 5 bed private room which was lovely but one of the beds is a double. Fine for us as we only had 4 people.
