right on highway #6 just before Tobermory
6.0this small 8 unit motel is a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to the Chi Cheemaun dock so if you're just looking for a basic, no frills place to rest your head, it's okay. Mini fridge in room also has a teeny little freezer to chill your ice paks
If you can`t provide, please don`t advertise.
6.0Room was dark, sheet`s and towels were not changed every day, no breakfast (like was advertised when I was booking, for this price?), very old TV, blurry picture you can`t see anything - rainy evening, no radio, no internet connection.
Close enough to Tobermory downtown
8.0Overall, a very nice one night experience. The owner was very friendly.
Quirky Place
6.0Free wifi but, it did not reach my room. Have to walk closer to the office. Beds were fine but, there is no side table or shelf to put your phone on for time and alarm. Good room darkening front curtains, sheer curtains in the small kitchen, no door, so when you need to be up at 5 for the ferry, good luck getting to sleep if it is still light out. Plumbing is very marginal, with patience you can get the right temperature. Full size fridge with a freezer, great to freeze your cooler packs. You have to remember a 2 star facility is rated primarily for cleanliness and it was very clean.
