Good beach and facilities. Housekeeping staff are excellent (esp Thanis)

− The resort is marketed as 5 star but the service is shockingly bad run by trainees who are not very helpful. To book water activities, I was told I needed to go to the hotel next door whose reception staff were more helpful and booked it for me. Beach bar staff unhelpful and don’t do many of the drinks expected or bring them to the beach. Everything offered by the resort is overpriced for the quality. Hardly the experience of a 5 star resort. Wouldn’t say it’s good value for money at all at this price.

Our deluxe rooms were amazing with views over the beach and sea. Very comfortable and set in a fantastic location.

− Both the service and food quality was disappointing given the quality of rooms. Many menu items were unavailable. There was also a shortage of beds by the pool and on the beach at a time when the hotel was relatively quiet.

Die Anlage liegt sehr schön an einem großen Sandstrand. Der Pool ist toll und es gab immer Poolhandtücher, die man einfach holen konnte. Die Zimmer hatten eine kleine Sitzgelegenheit außen Richtung Pool. Allerdings waren die Nachbarterrassen gleich nebenan ohne Abtrennung. Die Strandbar an der man auch abends etwas zu Essen bekommen konnte war idyllisch und gut. Die Zimmer an sich waren klasse und der Duschbereich war sehr großzügig. Die separate Toilette war auch sehr angenehm. Das Essen (Buffet) hatte eine große Auswahl Frühstückstechnisch und auch abends. Alles war sehr lecker und meine Schwägerin mit Allergieproblemen wurde super umsorgt. Sie hat sogar extra glutenfreies selbstgebackenes Brot bekommen. Die Ayurveda Massage ist auch zu empfehlen, hat sehr gut getan.

− Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum und es ist fußläufig außenrum schlecht etwas zu erreichen. Aber dafür ist der Strand absolut spitze. Mit einem Tuk Tuk kann man allerdings gut ins Zentrum fahren.

Das The Calm Resort & Spa war der perfekte Ort, um einige entspannte Tage am Meer zu verbringen. Die wunderschöne Anlage, der gepflegte Strand und der große Pool haben uns sofort begeistert. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und komfortabel. Wir hatten Frühstück inklusive, das jeden Morgen ausgezeichnet war und eine große Auswahl bot. Am Abend sind wir meist außerhalb essen gegangen. Nur etwa fünf Gehminuten vom Resort entfernt gibt es ein hervorragendes Fischrestaurant, in dem wir sogar zweimal hintereinander gegessen haben. Die frisch zubereiteten Fischgerichte waren einfach hervorragend. Ein besonderes Highlight war die herzliche Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Teams. Wir haben uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Resort uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
