The room was very spacious and clean with a beautiful view. They offer lots of excursions and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The food in the restraunt is also delicious and reasonably priced. Absolutely loved our stay and would 100% stay with Volcan beach again.

− Nada más llegar, nos cambiamos de habitación porque la cabaña que contratamos no tenía techo, pedimos una habitación cerrada y nos dijeron que si por 3100 pesos las 5 noches, nada más entrar, vimos varias lagartijas, salimos a hablar con ellos y sorprendidos nos dijeron que podia ser culpa de la habitación, nos enseñaron otras y en todas vimos más, descubrimos que habían agujeros en el techo donde entraban y salían, como era de noche no nos dieron ninguna solución, les dijimos que sino tenían otro tipo de habitación nos iríamos porque podían entrar lagartijas que son inofensivas como podía entrar cualquier otro tipo de bicho, entonces yo no me sentía agusto y creo que lo más importante en un hotel es sentirse cómodo y tranquilo, ellos dijeron que era dentro de la experiencia tropical pero por ello ya habíamos pagado de mas para que la habitación fuese cerrada ya que la abierta sabía que lo pasaría mal, lo peor de todo es que al no darnos ninguna solución y no poder ni hablar con el jefe porque no estaba, nos buscamos otro hotel y nos fuimos, imaginaos la experiencia, volvimos a por nuestro equipaje que seguía en el hotel y no nos devolvieron ni un euro por las noches no disfrutadas, al revés nos hicieron pagar el extra por la habitación supuestamente “cerrada” que fue lo proporcional de los 3100 pesos de una noche que fueron 620 pesos, no tuvieron ni un detalle.

Beautiful resort with great staff! Insane house reef and so many trips and tours offered.

The resort is beautiful! The gardens are so well maintained and the fact you can just jump into the house reef and see all kinds of sea life including turtles is just a dream! The staff there are so lovely and extremely accommodating. The food at the restaurant was good and they offer so many different trips and tours direct from the resort which makes exploring the island so easy! The location is further away from the main town but I found this ideal because it is quieter during the evenings. Just note that the tricycles stop quite early so make sure to grab some phone numbers or make a time for them to come pick you up after dinner so you don't get stranded in town. You can also drink the water straight from the tap as it comes from a spring water stream which is great. The whole island is just so clean and the resort reflects this and the eco standard.

− I stayed in a deluxe room and it shares a wall with another room and unfortunately it is so loud between the rooms. You can hear the whole conversations from next door as if they are in the rooms with you. Also, because of the thatched roof you get a lot of debris falling onto the bed and since the rooms are not sealed you will get a lot of insects like ants coming into the rooms and onto the bed. On one occasion I had to get them to come spray the room and change the sheets as I had so many ants on the bed. But they saw to the issue quite quickly. The wifi is also only available in the restaurant and not in the rooms. I didn't personally find this an issue but some may find this a negative.

Comfortable and quiet stay

Perfect and beautiful location close to the airport and all the sights. Staff are nice and provided everything we needed. My favorite is the sundeck where we spent every afternoons snorkeling and waiting for the sunset.

− Lots of ants and found a worm on the bed. Dont know where they came from.

− Le wifi était difficile à capter dans la villa et il n'y avait pas de réseau 4 ou 5g. On pouvait l'avoir au restaurant.
