Deservedly popular friendly village local.
8.0Very friendly staff in popular and welcoming village local. We only stayed one night and didn't eat here though the menu looked great. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike for a small village it was busy on the Saturday night we stayed. Room was clean and comfortable though dated. The bed was a bit older than some but perfectly pleasant. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do within a short drive and lots of walking on your doorstep. Overall a most enjoyable stay.

10.0Brilliant place to stay. The staff can’t do enough for you and go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible and the locals are very friendly

10.0From the moment we arrived we were treated like family, it was a very relaxed atmosphere but efficient service. Anything we needed was arranged from taxi numbers to warm milk for our three year old. Great food and drinks too. A good size accommodation with a cosy but fresh feel.All staff were welcoming and happy to help. We will definitely stay here again.

6.0Great location for visiting historical sites within 2 hours drive time. Nice staff. Many local people visiting Odd Fellows Arms pub to give you a bit of local area history.
