Good and bad, not as I remember it from years back. I would not recommend

8.0

The room was beautifully presented with all needs catered for and finishing touches to make us feel welcome. We were able to eat inside in comfort with our three dogs, which was much appreciated

Breakfast was a letdown. We were given mugs of coffee, unable to put our own milk in, there was no choice of bread, just white sliced supermarket toast. The full English wasn’t very well cooked either (bacon undercooked, mushrooms shrivelled) Dinner was very nice but desert portions were small for the price and we got our food before our cutlery arrived for each course!

THE CROWN......STEP BACK IN TIME.

The Grade 11, listed building was steeped in History ,going back to The 13th Century, and oozed character .Original windows,Door Heights that favored the vertically Challenged and very quirky. The Meal we had was Spot on and The Breakfast, was very Good.

With it being on the edge of the village, there wasn't a lot else around.....but this reflects it's place in History....where it would have been The Hub of the community.

This was a lovely pub with efficient and friendly staff. The room was quaint and comfortable and quiet too! The breakfast was delicious and the portions just right.

We liked it all

Value for money with lovely staff

8.0

Value for money stay. All staff really helpful and friendly. Great breakfast from Charlotte. Rooms clean, contemporary, fluffy towels and toiletries. Would definitely stay here again.

It is an Inn with rooms so expect pub and customer-related noise on hot days when windows open. Take ear plugs to mitigate noise. I slept well.

Staff were really friendly and provided us with information about how to get in later. We liked the breakfast that was included, the room and bathroom were lovely and clean.

Avoid at all costs. Misleading.

Big bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Full English was served on a side plate. Very very small. Cheap ingredients. Nasty instant coffee. Dirty shabby public spaces. No fan in bedroom. Very very very stuffy. The bedroom and bathroom were as shown in photos. They had been refurbed BUT the rest of the inn was the complete opposite. No menu for breakfast. I was asked when we arrived if we wanted a full English, which I thought was odd. What was served was disgraceful. Not worth the money. Would not stay there again.
