Ci torneremmo molto volentieri.

Excellent stay, unusual guest policies but overall very good.

8.0

The location, the rooms and the facilities. Breakfast was great.

I think the staff didn’t handle a particular situation well. It was petty. The hotels are given a room temperature welcome water bottle, which is fine. We placed it in the fridge after taking a sip. When the room was made up, this was removed and not replaced (as hotel policy is to provide only the one welcome water). Fine, but why remove it. When we asked about it, it was not replaced. We are talking about 2 euros, it’s no issue to just buy one. But we returned from a long boat trip hoping to have water upon our return and instead had to head out again to buy some. Just because the cleaners removed what was ours anyway. Seems a bit silly for a 4 star hotel charging top dollar. Other than that everything was really good.

Nice place to visit and probably won’t return

Great location on the beach and in the heart of all of the restaurants and shops. The manager was great and definitely did the best she could to help make up for our complaints. The massage therapist was amazing and the Turkish bath was very nice and relaxing. The hotel was also very clean and one of the best room cleaning from staff who even folded our clothes.

They charge extra for just about everything, including €7 for fresh squeezed juice, €12 for Omelette (even if breakfast included with your room price), €3 for beach towels and €20-€40 for beach chairs which is probably same for most hotels in the area. Also the Junior Suite with a sea view had only a partial sea view, mostly a view of the back of a restaurant and photos of the rooms are misleading or clever angles. I would have preferred paying a regular room if that was what Ultimately what I received vs the $1,000 extra for a Jr. suite. I was also put on the first floor and it was very noisy. It started around 2am with the sound of bottles breaking from the restaurant below and again at 6am when they started putting out the beach chairs out, which sounded like boats crashing. Seems like they tried making as much noise as possible, and the walls are very thin. I have traveled to 7 cities in Sicily and many things I describe could just be standard for San Vito lo Capo as it is very touristic with prices 3x most cities especially in July.
