It has potential, but unfortunately just isn’t delivering.
6.0Certainly a beautiful spot, and the people working the restaurant were so sweet. Food overall was pretty good. Rooms were simple but I don’t mind that and think it’s part of the charm.
− The price is too high for the location. They no longer offer a shuttle to the town, so you rely on taxis which quickly adds up. In addition, they only have one contact for a taxi driver (who was lovely), however if you can’t get ahold of them you are kinda screwed. I had to walk back one day in 90 degree , it wasn’t the best. Further, I saw so many trucks for other accommodations shuttling their people around so it seems Silver Cliff is unfortunately one of the few that doesn’t offer this. For staying so far away from town you want it to feel like a nice cozy reclusive spot, but this was mostly not that. The restaurant was nice but not a lot of comfortable outdoor hanging areas or viewing spots for watching the birds. I also booked a night safari with them, and had to pay high prices because I was the only person from the hotel that went, and I’ll spare all the details but it really was not a good tour and I felt a waste of my money unfortunately. It seemed like other hotels had better guides that were able to inform them a bit more on the ecosystem. The fan they offer in the room for cooling at night isn’t quite enough. It really isn’t angled right to hit the bed very effectively. I don’t know that I would recommend for solo travelers.

10.0Absolutely stunning scenery. Though it is a little distant from Khoa Sok town, it is just an inexpensive taxi ride. We LOVED being in nature and away from tourists.
− During our stay the nearby farms were cutting lots of trees, so we heard chainsaws in the distance at all times during the day. This was not the resort’s fault - just noisy neighbours .
