5.0Location and restaurant very nice. Staff very helpful.
− Bed was not very comfortable. There were no spoons to make your coffee/tea with. There was a peacock making a noise at the crack of dawn. The rooms were not very soundproof, you could hear next rooms alarm going off.
Beautiful setting but quite disappointing.

− The fact that despite talking on the phone to the property and looking at their website there was no mention that the food menu was restricted due to refurbishment. The breakfast was a particular disappointment. The new menu which came into affect on our 3 day is also nothing like the web site. Prices are also more expensive. We had planned on eating at the site but instead had to go out . Our room was comfortable but could have done with some decorating. There seemed to only ever be one member of staff on and of an evening they were booking in, serving drinks, taking food orders, serving food, clearing tables.

6.0Staff : Emma who looked after us was brilliant , attentive and helpful at all times. Staff overall excellent.q Breakfast was very good . Location, peaceful and pleasant . Plenty of parking near our room.
− Coffee: absolutely atrocious! Worst coffee I have ever tried. Our room had paint chipping off and what looked like mould in a couple of places as a result of damp, this gave the room a somewhat “grotty” feel. The mattress had a lump on one side. Lunch : Fish was very overcooked , which was a shame as overall the food was very good.
