6.0The location is wonderful! It’s just steps from the north side of the Wildwood boardwalk. The staff is very pleasant and let us in the room an hour prior to check-in. We went in the pool several times. It’s very clean with quality, comfortable lounge chairs. The problems: the room itself smelled very strongly of mold/mildew. All clothes that I took out of my bag became damp which was disgusting. My leather sandals were even damp. Something I wish I knew in advance: you get a sheet to cover the mattress and one blanket. I could not use the blanket. I don’t believe these beige blankets are washed after each guest because I was watching the cleaning staff and they only removed the white sheet and pillowcases. I can’t possibly use a blanket that many others used. Luckily I had my oversized beach towel which was all I used for a bedsheet. If I was staying any longer than 3 nights, I would have found a store to purchase new bedding for myself. Of course between the smell, the dampness and using a towel for a blanket, sleeping was not pleasant. I can only hope that the mildew and dampness was exclusive to the room I rented. I didn’t speak to other guests about this. I can’t recommend The Condor, nor will I be able to stay there again which is a shame due to it’s excellent proximity to the beach and boardwalk.
