1.0ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE – Fraudulent Listing, Broken Bed, and Flooded Bathroom! (Avoid at all costs!)
− We booked City Lights Rome and it was an absolute nightmare. The neighborhood feels like an unsafe ghetto, covered in graffiti. The property is a completely misrepresented, substandard B&B that looks nothing like the advertised photos. The room had a foul odor, bugs, an active plumbing leak flooding the bathroom floor, and the bed frame was completely broken and collapsed on the ground. Furthermore, "breakfast included" is a scam—just a cheap voucher for one coffee and a croissant at a nearby café. We checked out immediately the next morning. When contacted, the owner was incredibly hostile and refused to help, telling us to contact Booking.com instead. This place is a severe health and safety hazard. They charge premium prices (€606 total) for an unlivable ghetto experience. Do not let the photos fool you—stay far away! Do not stay here!
